Frequently Asked Questions

How do I set my frog?

On the Home screen, tap "Set a frog now" under Today's Frog, or "Set tomorrow's frog" to line one up in advance. You can edit or delete either one at any time before it's eaten.

What happens if I don't eat my frog in time?

Each day has an evening cutoff you set in Profile. If today's frog is still unfinished when it passes, your streak resets. If tomorrow's slot is empty, the unfinished task rolls forward so you can confirm or edit it; if tomorrow's slot is already taken, it's simply marked missed instead.

Where do completed and missed frogs go?

They move into a collapsible history section beneath Today's and Tomorrow's Frog, so you can look back without it cluttering your day.

How do morning reminders and snoozing work?

At your reminder time, the app asks whether you've eaten your frog yet. If you need more time, snooze it for however long you've set in Profile — as many times as you like.

How do I sync with Google Tasks or Microsoft To Do?

In Profile, under "Sync With", turn on Google Tasks and/or Microsoft To Do. Once connected, setting a frog gives you the option to choose a task from your real list instead of typing one. Completing it in Eat The Frog marks it done at the source too, and vice versa (this isn't instant — it's checked whenever you open the app).

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your account from within the app:

  1. Open Eat The Frog and sign in
  2. Tap the Me tab
  3. Scroll to Support & Legal and tap Delete Account
  4. Type DELETE to confirm

If you are unable to access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing us at rain.or.shine.apps@gmail.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
