Screenable vs Brickify

Both make a phone simpler for a child. Here's where they differ.

The short version

Screenable is a free app for iPhone and iPad that you run from your own phone. Its Dumb Phone mode strips a child's iPhone back to the basics, with a bedtime lock and screen-time limits on top.

Brickify works on iPhone and Android, and runs on the phone itself. You build profiles, from calls and texts only up to nearly everything, and they switch themselves on a weekly schedule you set once.

Which one fits?

If your family is all on iPhone and a Dumb Phone mode with a bedtime lock is enough, Screenable is free and well reviewed. Try it.

Brickify is for families with an Android phone in the mix, who want the phone to change through the week by itself, or who want to use the same rules on their own phone. Every family is different, so see how other families set up their week.
