Short version: Brickify is a tool to help you or someone in your care take a break from distracting apps. You're responsible for how it's used. Emergency calling always works, even when bricked.
By downloading, installing, or using Brickify, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Brickify lets you disable selected apps on a device until a passcode and second factor are entered. On iPhone this uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework; on Android it uses the Accessibility Service and Device Administrator permissions. Brickify is intended to be set up by the person responsible for the device — typically a parent, guardian, or the device's own adult owner using it for self-control.
Brickify never blocks emergency calls. The Emergency Call button on the bricked screen dials emergency services regardless of brick status, on both platforms.
Brickify relies on operating-system permissions (Screen Time / Family Controls on iOS, Accessibility Service and Device Administrator on Android) that the device owner can revoke, and on protections that a factory reset, app deletion, or OS-level workaround can bypass — see the in-app Help section for details on both platforms. Brickify is a supportive tool, not an unbypassable lock, and we don't guarantee it will prevent access to blocked apps in every circumstance.
Brickify offers a free trial followed by a one-time lifetime purchase, processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases are billed and refunded according to the relevant store's own policies — we don't process payments directly and can't issue refunds ourselves. Restoring a previous purchase is available from the paywall screen.
You can delete your Brickify data at any time from Setup → "Delete my account & data" inside the app (this requires your passcode and second factor). This does not cancel an active purchase — cancel or manage that from your Apple or Google account settings.
We may update, change, or discontinue features of Brickify at any time. We'll try to give notice of material changes where practical.
Brickify is provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, Rain or Shine Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including situations where app blocking does not function as expected.
If we make material changes we will update the date above. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
