How do I add a child?
Go to Profile → Settings, then under "Children" enter your child's name and tap Add.
How do I add a chore?
In Settings, scroll to the Chores section. Enter the chore name and how many 🥕 carrots it's worth, then tap Add. You can then tick which children the chore applies to.
How do I award a chore to a child?
On the main screen, select the child using the tabs at the top, then tap the chore button. Their carrot balance will go up automatically!
What is Pay Day?
When you're ready to pay your child their earned carrots in real-world money, tap the 💰 Pay button. This records the payout in the history and resets their balance to zero.
What are Carrots?
Carrots (🥕) are the fictional currency used in Pocket Muney. They are not real money — they represent what you agree to pay your child in real life. No actual payments happen inside the app.
Can I have more than one child?
Yes! Add as many children as you like in Settings. Switch between them using the tabs on the main screen.
Can different chores be assigned to different children?
Absolutely. In Settings, each chore has checkboxes for each child — just tick the ones the chore applies to.
Is my data private?
Yes. We only store first names and chore data. We never collect real financial information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app:
This permanently deletes your account, all children, chores, chore logs, and pay history. This action cannot be undone.
If you are unable to access the app, you can also request deletion by emailing us at rain.or.shine.apps@gmail.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
