What this policy covers

This policy covers this website, rainorshineapps.com, only. Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, which explains what the app itself collects:

Analytics cookies — only if you say yes

On pages where analytics is switched on, a banner asks whether we may use Google Analytics. Nothing is loaded from Google and no analytics cookies are set unless you choose Accept.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…, which last up to two years) so we can understand how the site is used. It collects:

the pages you view and how you arrived at the site
which App Store and Google Play buttons are clicked
your approximate location (country or city), and your device and browser type

We use this only to see which pages are helpful and how people find our apps. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not try to identify you. Google processes this data on our behalf and keeps it for no longer than 14 months. Our legal basis is your consent.

Remembering your choice

So we don't ask you on every page, your Accept or No thanks choice is stored in your browser's local storage on this site. It is not sent to us or to Google.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we stop analytics and delete the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us at the email address above. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
